The company combines strong engineering expertise with local development capabilities, supporting end-to-end production processes and continuous innovation across its operations.

 

Job Description

  • Lead industrial engineering teams, including project teams and tooling (tool shop) functions
  • Plan and allocate resources and production capacities across relevant sectors
  • Ensure optimal availability and utilization of production capacities
  • Drive process and workflow optimization using methodologies such as Lean, CIP, and OEE
  • Improve product quality through robust technical solutions
  • Review and approve technical solutions, tools, and manufacturing processes
  • Provide technical support to serial production and new product introduction (NPI) projects
  • Collaborate closely with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional internal teams
  • Monitor and manage project timelines, costs, and quality performance
  • Support customer projects throughout the transition into serial production
  • Lead and implement engineering and process changes
  • Perform technical risk analysis in collaboration with quality and production departments
  • Define and maintain technical standards, specifications, and norms
  • Conduct feasibility and manufacturability analyses (DFM/DFA, feasibility studies)
  • Support prototype development, sample production, and validation activities
  • Plan and optimize production layouts and material flow
  • Define cycle times and labor standards
  • Drive the implementation of new technologies in cooperation with innovation management
  • Ensure continuous improvement of efficiency, quality, and operational reliability
  • Report directly to the Operations Director
  • Act as a backup for the Engineering Supervisor when required

 

Candidate Profile

  • Proven leadership experience managing engineering and cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong expertise in industrial engineering principles (Lean manufacturing, OEE, continuous improvement, process optimization)
  • Solid project management capabilities, including planning, budgeting, and risk mitigation
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, tooling, and production systems (EMS experience is a strong advantage)
  • Experience with feasibility studies, process validation, and production ramp-up/NPI
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a data-driven mindset
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work across customers, suppliers, and internal teams
  • Proficiency in engineering and data tools (e.g., CAD systems, ERP/MES, advanced Excel)
