We have partnered with a respected international manufacturing company operating in the Vojvodina region. As part of its ongoing organizational development, the company is looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to lead the finance function in a dynamic production environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Leading day-to-day finance and accounting activities and managing the finance team.
  • Preparing and reviewing monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
  • Managing budgeting, forecasting, cash flow, and financial planning.
  • Monitoring financial performance, analyzing variances, and providing recommendations to management.
  • Overseeing accounting operations, including general ledger, AP, AR, fixed assets, inventory, and month-end closing.
  • Managing production costing, inventory accounting, cost variances, and manufacturing overheads.
  • Working closely with Production, Procurement, Supply Chain, and Management on cost control and business decisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, internal controls, and company policies.
  • Supporting audits and maintaining relationships with external financial partners.
  • Driving process improvements and developing the finance team.

 

Requirements:

Education & Experience:

  • University degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of relevant experience, preferably in an international manufacturing environment.
  • Strong experience in accounting, financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
  • Good understanding of production/cost accounting and inventory management.
  • Previous team leadership or management experience.
  • Experience with ERP systems and strong MS Excel skills.
