Quality engineer

Our client is a global provider of Mobility components and systems with strong R&D focus and more than 50 years of presence on global markets. By developing its own products and as carriers of progress in this field, they offer a partnership to the main global players in various industries with strong focus also in automotive industry.

For their HQ in Slovenia, we are looking for Quality Engineer to join a team and further achieve and ensure confidence in the highest international quality standards through continuous improvement, development and enhancement.

You will (be): 

• monitoring the entire production cycle and perform regular tests to identify potential malfunctions as early as possible;
• daily communicating with customers by ensuring technical and professional assistance;
• coordinating with external quality assurance auditors and technicians to ensure legal compliance;
• working with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products;
• determining quality metrics for all manufacturing procedures;
• improving product quality by detecting defects and durability;
• identifying the root of technical issues and recommend fixes;
• preparing reports on malfunctions and corrective actions;
• reviewing current blueprints and quality documentation;
• moderating quality–related activities.

 

Requirements:
 

• min BSc or MSc in Technical or similar field;
• proven work experience (ideally in automotive) in the quality segment;
• high personal motivation and drive with willingness for additional learning;
• extraordinary communication, organization and teamwork skills;
• convincing handling of customers and external partners;
• knowledge of ISO standards (ISO 14001, ISO 9001);
• overall interest in automotive industry;
• active knowledge of English, additional knowledge of German is an advantage;
• proficient PC skills in a Windows environment.
