Summary:
Working as part of a small and busy team you will be working closely with external accounting firms in 7 countries of Balkan region, in order to prepare the consolidation of monthly results and reporting. This is an interesting and varied role for an experienced Finance professional with good working experience.
Key tasks and responsibilities:
- Ensures the integrity of accounting records for completeness, accuracy and in compliance with IFRS
- Acts as main point of contact for local accounting firms
- Prepares and monitors monthly Balance Sheet reconciliations
- Takes care of monthly internal reporting within Atradius including P&L and BS consolidation for branches in the Balkan region
- Supports in various finance projects including changes of operating systems
- Assists in developing and updating internal procedures & system enhancements leading to achieving team’s efficiency goals
- Executes the Atradius Group’s AR strategy - supervises dunning process
- Acts as subject matter expert for both internal and external clients in terms of finance queries
- Monitors changes in local tax regulations within the Balkans region
Required qualifications:
- A degree in finance/ accounting or equivalent work experience
- Good working knowledge of MS Office package, especially Excel
- Ability to work accurately and with good attention to details
- Problem solving mind-set; self-starter
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Fluent in English; a second foreign language would be an advantage
- Proven experience working in a finance department
- Knowledge of Oracle Financials would be an advantage
- Experience working in a role of a team leader would be an advantage
