Senior Data Analyst / Project Manager

In partnership with our client, we are looking for a Senior Data Analyst / Project Manager. Our client is a global manufacturing company specializing in innovative and sustainable flooring and sports surface solutions, with operations across more than 100 countries worldwide. The company’s IT environment supports a complex international organization, and this role provides an opportunity to contribute to the development and delivery of data and BI initiatives across the organization.

As a key link between business stakeholders and technical teams, this role is responsible for translating business needs into clear requirements, coordinating delivery, and ensuring that data and BI solutions are aligned with business processes, KPIs, and data governance principles.

Responsibilities

• Collect, structure, and prioritize business demand for data and BI initiatives.
• Translate business needs into clear, actionable, and validated functional requirements.
• Coordinate development, testing, deployment, and hypercare activities across data and BI initiatives.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and technical teams to ensure alignment throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Support data modeling, data exposure, and data governance activities.
• Contribute to BI standards and architecture-related discussions.
• Define and validate KPIs, metrics, and calculation rules across business domains.
• Create and maintain process maps, workflow diagrams, and requirements documentation.
• Facilitate workshops, interviews, and requirements-gathering sessions.
• Manage communication, expectations, risks, dependencies, and service alignment across stakeholders.
• Support initiatives across both existing legacy BI environments and the organization’s next-generation cloud data platform.

Requirements

• University degree in Economics, Data Science, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in data analysis, Business Intelligence, project management, or related roles.
• Strong understanding of business processes, KPIs, and analytical frameworks.
• Solid knowledge of reporting and BI tools, particularly Power BI.
• Good understanding of data modeling, SQL, and ELT principles.
• Experience translating business requirements into structured functional or technical specifications.
• Experience working with both business and technical teams in cross-functional environments.
• Familiarity with legacy BI and ETL environments such as SQL Server, Cognos, and Informatica PowerCenter.
• Understanding of cloud-based data and analytics platforms such as Snowflake, dbt, and Azure Data Factory is a significant advantage.
• Experience with project coordination, backlog management, and prioritization.
• Understanding of data governance concepts, including data quality, ownership, and lineage.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, including the ability to work with senior stakeholders.
