We have partnered with a well-established and growing construction company in search of an experienced Technical Director who will lead the successful delivery of complex construction projects and drive technical excellence across the organization.

This is a key leadership role for a seasoned construction professional with strong technical expertise, proven people leadership experience, and the ability to manage multiple projects from planning through execution.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical execution of multiple construction projects, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
  • Manage, mentor, and develop Site Managers and project teams while driving performance and operational excellence.
  • Oversee project planning, budgeting, scheduling (WBS & Gantt), cost control, and risk management.
  • Coordinate activities with designers, contractors, subcontractors, procurement, supervision, and regulatory authorities.
  • Ensure the accuracy of technical documentation, construction administration, and compliance with all applicable regulations and HSE standards.
  • Identify opportunities to improve construction processes, technical solutions, and overall project efficiency.
  • Monitor project progress and provide regular reports on performance, risks, and key milestones.

Candidate Profile

  • University degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Valid Licensed Responsible Civil Engineer
  • Extensive experience leading complex construction projects and multidisciplinary teams.
  • Experience in high-rise and commercial construction projects, such as residential developments, office buildings, industrial facilities, shopping centres, or similar large-scale developments, is highly preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of project planning, budgeting, scheduling, construction methodologies, and cost control.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, ArmCAD, Tower, Autodesk Revit, and other relevant engineering software.
  • Good command of English (intermediate level or above)
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and confident in making technical and operational decisions
